A society that supports efforts to keep the musical heritage of Sibelius alive, to make his music more easily available, and to promote research about Sibelius and his music. The three major projects include the International Jean Sibelius Violin Competition (next in 2015), the publication of the critical edition of the collected works of Sibelius, and the 150th anniversary of Sibelius in 2015.
