Describe your new album “Two of a Kind” with four adjectives
Goldielocks: "Storytelling, upbeat, riff-heavy, cinematic."
If your music were a vehicle, what kind of vehicle would it be?
"A convertible – stylish, fun, and perfect for an open-road adventure."
When did you write your first song? What was its name?
"I wrote my first song when I was nine years old. It was called “What Time Is It?” (“Paljon kello on?”). I might still have some notes from it."
Have you ever had a crush on a pop star or a celebrity? If so, who was the first one?
"Yes, many times! The first one was Justin Bieber."
What is the first pop song you remember liking?
"Fifteen by Taylor Swift. I was eight years old, and even though I don’t listen to her as much now, that song stuck with me."
Party all night or sleep all night? Why?
"Sleep all night. If I party, the next day is ruined. I’m a morning person, so I love going to bed early and waking up refreshed."
What song do you sing at karaoke?
"I don’t usually sing karaoke, but if I had to, I’d choose Back to Black by Amy Winehouse."
What is your favourite fruit?
"Persimmon or mango. People don’t eat persimmons enough, they’re underrated!"
Do you have Christmas traditions? What is the most important one?
"Yes, the traditional rice porridge in the morning with cinnamon, sugar, and butter. And of course, fighting with siblings over who gets the almond. Whoever finds it wins the prize!"
Name a musician that you would like to sing or play on your record. Why?
"Right now, I’m really into Oklou, a French artist who feels fresh and inspiring to me.
Alternatively, Benny Bellson would be amazing too."
