The second edition of the annual We Jazz event takes place at several venues in Helsinki on December 8–13.

After a strong debut last year, the event – a "jazz installation" around the city, features trumpeter Avishai Cohen's Triveni, Dawn of Midi, Nils Wogram Root 70 w/ Strings, sax man Logan Richardson, plus a solid cast of Finnish act inclusing Jukka Eskola Soul Trio, Timo Lassy, Kari Ikonen Trio, Elifantree, plus more.

Also on the bill are three special projects, namely bassist Antti Lötjönen playing in three bands simultaneously, the hotly-tipped trio Mopo performing 24 gigs over the period of 24 hours, and percussionist Tatu Rönkkö presenting his "I Play Your Kitchen" concept in people's kithcen's around the town.

We Jazz will also host three preview events featuring the Ethiojazz legend Hailu Mergia in October, a We Jazz knitwear fashion show in November, and Timo Lassy with the gospel choir Higher Ground performing in a church a week before the actual event.
