Sauli Zinovjev joins HarrisonParrott's new publishing company Birdsong

This week, prominent management company HarrisonParrott launched Birdsong, a brand new venture into music publishing. One of the six composers already signed to Birdsong is Sauli Zinovjev.

Sauli Zinovjev joins the seminal publishing company along with Charlotte Bray, Ben Rowarth, Christian Schumann, Freya Waley-Cohen and Jimmy López Bellido (see his works available at Music Finland core). Educated at Sibelius-Academy, Sauli Zinovjev has so far focused mainly on orchestral music with commissions and performances by distinguished orchestras such as the Finnish and Swedish Radio symphony orchestras, philharmonic orchestras of Oslo, Helsinki and Gothenburg and the Bamberger Symfoniker, Orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne and Tapiola Sinfonietta. During past years Zinovjev has collaborated with frontline musicians such as Klaus Mäkelä, Víkingur Ólafsson, Tuuli Lindeberg, Pekka Kuusisto and Sakari Oramo.

Branching out into publishing, HarrisonParrott promises to provide a “full, bespoke publishing service that is tailored to the composer’s needs” with Birdsong.

The company’s services include commissioning opportunities, engaging their composers in interesting projects and securing sync deals. Birdsong also distributes the composers’ sheet music and hires out scores as well as provides royalty collection and distribution.
