In Helsinki, January 2012 two musicians and startup entrepreneurs united their forces to become the catchy post-indie electronic duo called Phantom. Tommi Koskinen from Kitkaliitto and AudioDraft with Hanna Toivonen from Mukava Music and multiple jazzy singer/songwriter projects go together as Phantom.

Phantom debuted and released their first EP "Scars" and music video at SXSW 2012 in Austin, Texas. Since then they have drawn attention from around the world including a blog post from The xx and a review in Pitchfork. Also, the band has got some coverage in e.g. Record of the Day, Ja Ja Ja, and Glue.

Their lively performances, stunning realtime Kinect visuals and the original handmade instrument (midi theremin) called UFO has gotten people excited all around the world.

On 27 September, the band’s eerie pop sound with jazzy twist can be heard at Ja Ja Ja Club. Ja Ja Ja - A Nordic Affair is a Nordic website and club night celebrating the very best new music emerging from Sweden, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Denmark. Each month at The Lexington club in London, Ja Ja Ja hand-picks the finest emerging talent from the Nordic countries.
