Melodic death metal act Omnium Gatherum will head for a tour in North America with Sweden’s Dark Tranquillity and US band Exmortus.

Omnium Gatherum’s guitarist Markus Vanhala comments: "Needless to say we're happy to finally take the OG show beyond the Atlantic to North American soil.  We've been receiving a big amount of praising feedback from the States for a long time and been waiting for a chance to come there. Now it's finally reality - touring North America in the best possible company: our Swedish fellow melodic death masters Dark Tranquillity! The album title lives up to its name - Beyond album has elevated the band to a whole new level and is getting us to play outside the European soil. To Japan, Korea, China and now to USA and Canada too!"

Next week Omnium Gatherum begins their European tour with Danish band Mercenary, after which the group plays shows in China and Korea.
