Nordic Music Biz 20 under 30 searches for young music industry professionals
For the second time we’ll present the 20 young industry players who are in the forefront of bringing the Nordic music to the world.
Looked upon as one, the Nordics is the world’s 6th largest market for recorded music and the industry is growing. We all know Alan Walker, Zara Larsson, Sigur Rós, Mø, Alma, Stargate and Max Martin – it’s no wonder the Nordics is called the capital of pop music. The talent out of the region seems to be never ending. Even several after the first major international success, artists, writers and producers from the Nordic countries are continuing to dominate charts worldwide
A vital part of the rise of these artists are the teams behind them, and especially the young forces who bring new perspective, ideas and business models to an ever changing industry. See the "20 under 30" list for 2018 here.
For the second time we’ll present the 20 young industry players who’s in the forefront of bringing the Nordic music to the world. The annual list of Nordic Music Business’ 20 under 30 will be revealed in February of 2019.
The list will be revealed in February 2019 and presented in full at by:Larm music conference and festival, the largest gathering of Nordic music industry and artists in the world.

Please include: Full name of candidate, place of employment and title, and describe the candidate's achievements in 2018 and why you believe this person should be on the list. Deadline: 18. December.
To be eligible, candidates must work in a Nordic based music or entertainment company, or cultural organization with close ties to the music industry. Candidates who turned 30 in 2018 are eligible.
A panel comprised of 15 key, music industry players across the five Nordic countries will research and discuss all submitted candidates before selecting the final 20.
While determining the Top 20, the jury will weigh a variety of factors, including, but not limited to: company growth, career trajectory, reputation among peers, overall impact in the industry in 2018, artistic development, innovation in their field, touring revenue, ticket sales, social media presence, radio and TV coverage and creative campaigns.
