Käärijä embarks on first international tour in October
Finnish rapper Käärijä, who became an international phenomenon during this spring, will embark on his first foreign tour in October.
Käärijä's first international tour will take the artist to London, Berlin and Stockholm, among others. In total, the tour stops in eight European cities. The shows sold out within the first 24 hours in five different cities when the tickets became available in mid-July. This resulted in relocating the London and Glasgow shows to bigger venues, where the demand was highest.
Käärijä fever has spread around the world after the artist won the public vote in the Eurovision Song Contest final held in Liverpool and finished second in the competition. His mega-hit Cha Cha Cha rose to the top of the charts in seven different countries with its 3.8 million daily streams at its best, reaching seventh place on Spotify's list of the most listened songs globally.
There have also been dozens of remakes of the song, e.g. a remix of Alan Walker and a cover version by German rockers Lord Of The Lost. At the moment, Cha Cha Cha is just about to break the 100 million listen mark on Spotify.
