In November Frigg, one of the pioneers of contemporary Finnish folk music, are set to perform at two important showcase festivals: first at Mundial Montréal in Canada, followed by Folkelarm in Norway. Frigg is one of the ten chosen performers at Mundial Montréal and the first Finnish act ever to play the showcase. In mere six years Mundial Montréal has become one of the most important world music showcase events in North America. Frigg will play at Café Campus on November 16. 

Immediately after Canada the group heads to play at Folkelarm in Oslo, where the group performs as a part of the Nordic showcase programme on November 18. Ilkka Heinonen Trio is also among the showcase acts.
