Anna Reponen will start as Music Finland's new Export Manager. Starting in December, Anna will take care of our customers making songwriting and music production export: songwriters, producers, music publishers, as well as film and media composers, all of whom have been mainly Katariina Sorsa's customers until now.

The new export manager, Anna Reponen, has versatile experience in administrative and production work in the cultural sector. She graduated with a master's degree in music from the Sibelius Academy's Arts Management programme. Anna has been working at Music Finland since 2020 – until now in project management positions in export projects such as coaching, co-write camps, export artist accelerator, Music x Media and most recently in the International Music Business Masterclass that started this fall.

Anna has become familiar with music publishing and music production, for example through internships at publising companies Elements Music and Insane Saki Riot, as well as through her long-term intrest in singing. She has also studied music business in the USA and Germany.

"In my new position, I am inspired by the fact that I get to work for the internationalization of music makers. Finnish song export is a growing field and the number of exported songs has increased year by year despite the pandemic, so it's great to be able to help the creators' internationalization and success in the future as well. The new role is a positive challenge for me, where I also get to utilize my previous experience and skills," says Anna.
