Finnish songwriters co-wrote songs for David Guetta, Kaskade, Tiga, and Andy C

Finnish producers and songwriters and have been busy lately working with major artists like David Guetta, Andy C and Kaskade.

Songwriter Teemu Brunila co-wrote a song on David Guetta’s upcoming album Listen. Brunila co-wrote “I’ll Keep Loving You feat. Jaymes Young & Birdy” together with David Guetta, Frederic Riesterer, Giorgio Tuinfort, Jaymes Young, Bird and Matt Dragstrom. Listen will be released on 21 November 2014. 

David Guetta is one of the most successful EDM artists in the world. Guetta achieved mainstream success with his 2009 album One Love which included the hit singles "When Love Takes Over", "Gettin' Over You", and "Sexy Bitch", all three of which reached #1 in the United Kingdom. So far Guetta has sold more than six million albums and 15 million singles worldwide. 

This is yet another big step on Teemu Brunila’s songwriting career, which took off internationally after Brunila took part in Music Finland’s Song Castle songwriting camp in 2008. In 2012 the Finnish songwriter landed a co-write credit on an album by Trey Songz. The album Chapter V went number one in the United States. Brunila has also co-written songs for JLS and Jetta among others.  

Other Finnish songwriters have also been active recently. Producer Jaakko Salovaara (JS16) co-wrote legendary drum ‘n’ bass producer Andy C’s and US singer Fiora’s new single "Heartbeat Loud" which went straight to BBC Radio One’s A-list. 

Producer and DJ, and the other half on synth pop act Sin Cos Tan, Jori Hulkkonen co-wrote and produced Tiga’s new single track ”Bugatti", which was chosen as “tonight’s hottest record” by BBC Radio 1’s host Zane Lowe

Songwriter Sansa co-wrote and performed vocals on Kaskade’s latest single “A Little More”. Kaskade placed at no. 30 on DJ Magazine’s Top 100 DJ’s poll in 2011, and was chosen as “America’s best DJ 2013” by DJ Times.
