Satellite Stories

Finland´s biggest and finest indie band Satellite Stories and recent Universal Music Group signing have been locked up in a studio for most of 2016 writing and recording what will be the first album released on a major record label.

In the band´s own words "With the new material we tried to re-invent our own music more to the sounds we listen to personally and make what we feel is modern indie pop, by exploring elements from urban music into a shape of an indie band. Our take on today's billboard sound and early The Killers era indie. Forward thinking catchy Scandinavian guitar music, quirky lyrics and hook-oriented songwriting.”

“Satellite Stories” 4th studio album has seen a bold move from the band taking matters into their own hands fully producing the material themselves with the addition of a select New York based team to put the final touches to the record. Mixing the album is Grammy winning producer/engineer Fernando Lodeiro. Mastering the album is Joe LaPorta from the renowned Sterling Sound Studio, LaPorta. The album is penned to be released early 2017.
