Hokuo Music Fest 2016
16.11.2016 – 19.11.2016
The concept of Hokuo Music Fest was first introduced in 2013 when the Nordic showcase Hokuo Music Night joined forces with a metal showcase previously organized by the Finnish export office. The first Hokuo Music Fest was a success. Therefore in 2016, the Nordics continue to introduce the best of their music to the Japanese market and build international music industry networks together.
This year, in addition to the Loud & Metal Mania showcase, there will also be a Ja Ja Ja showcase event with a focus on indie music.
The Japanese music market is the second largest music market in the world. The Hokuo Music Fest local partner, Creativeman, hosts some of Japan’s biggest festivals such as Loud Park and Summer Sonic and arranges most of the international artists’ shows in Japan.
Thursday 17 November, 12.00–16.00 at AP Shibuya
